Personal Lines Team Lead
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Personal Lines Team Lead to their Total Dollar Insurance team in Port Washington, NY.
Job Summary:
The Team Leader works to ensure a positive experience for the customer by coaching and managing other employees. They also assist with the execution of daily operations by overseeing staff training, team building exercises, and performance reviews of the Personal Lines Department. The Team Leader is well informed on the policies and expectations of the company.
Essential Functions:
• Actively seeks to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback
• Address customer concerns about policies, services rendered or employee interactions
• Train new employees on company standards and procedures, from how to handle a negative client experience to how to properly interact with clients
• Uses experience, discretion, and independent judgment to conceptualize and implement solutions to meet client needs
• Participates in marketing and sales meetings
• Manages and retains existing book of business
• Reviews and processes old and new renewals, new policies, and policy changes
• Affecting, interpreting, and implementing various company policies regarding the specific factual circumstances of each client
• Performs other duties as are required to establish, service, and maintain accounts
Competencies & Qualifications:
• Ability to organize training initiatives for department within the company
• Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple company initiatives and encourage coworkers to do the same
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and insurance agency management software (EPIC)
• Instructional experience in a group business setting
• Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
• Ability to analyze company needs, employee development and goal setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
• Extensive knowledge
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Management or relevant field preferred
• State insurance license
• 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• 3-5 years’ experience in insurance
This range represents the estimated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to performance, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of FRP's total compensation package for employees.
Pay Transparency Range
$70,000 - $80,000 USD
