Insurance Administrative Coordinator
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firm in the US, is adding an Insurance Administrative Coordinator to their Apartment Insurance Consultant team in Austin, TX.
Job Summary:
Seeking a Insurance Account Service Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join their team. Experience in the commercial insurance industry is helpful although not required. We will train the right person that has a great work ethic and skill set. The Insurance Account Service Coordinator/Administrative Assistant position is challenging and rewarding. The position works in tandem with the Account Services Director to provide all aspects of the account service needs to our clients; ensure ongoing consistency as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the account servicing. Our commitment is to provide positive and quality customer service in all areas, ensuring timely delivery, and high accuracy of work/service provided.
Essential Functions:
- Set up new insurance accounts in database
- Manage policy endorsement changes to meet coverage needs of the client
- Process Property and Liability claims
- Order and process inspections
- Process cancellations
- Process loss run requests
- Gather loss runs for program reports
- Track and process all renewal bindings
- Review finance agreements upon receipt from company
- Collect past due premium for new business accounts
- Process notices of cancellation for non-payment via Registered Mail and USPS
- Assist with audit projects throughout the year
- Track all current agency E&O certificates and agency licenses
- Correspond with lenders
- Send policies and declaration certificates to clients
- Answer incoming phone calls and route to appropriate team member
- Process daily mail – opening, distributing, and overnight deliveries
- Deposit incoming checks using deposit capture machine
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work in a highly task driven environment while managing multiple priorities
- Project Management Skill - ability to move from project to project and follow each through to completion
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Must adhere to procedures and deadlines
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft office-suite programs; including Teams and SharePoint
- Must be highly proficient with oral and written communication skills
- Must have a positive, friendly attitude with the ability to demonstrate excellent follow through skills
- Use analytical and critical detail-oriented thinking in work processes and communication skills
- Requires the ability to work independently
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience and proven success in a Customer Service role
- Minimum 3 years of experience and proven success in an Administrative Assistant role
- Experience with Commercial Property and Liability Insurance is preferred, but not required
- P&C license or CISR designation is preferred, but not required
