Clinical Account Manager
Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Clinical Account Manager to their team in Windermere, FL.
Job Summary:
Responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing all aspects of the client’s pharmacy plan. Seeking strategic, professional, and client-focused individual with experience in the PBM space.
Essential Functions:
- Evaluate, develop and implement new clinical strategies and programs, provide ongoing oversight of clinical programs and their outcomes.
- Meet with clients/brokers to discuss plan performance including clinical trends, review relevant pharmacy data and provide recommendations/supportive rationale for plan management strategies.
- Responsible for gathering information from various sources to make informed decisions, translate and decipher how current pharmacy/healthcare trends will affect plan.
- Analyze and evaluate pharmacy data, including claims data, presentations, KPI’s, clinical programs.
- Perform prior authorization and appeal functions.
- Analyze impact reports to identify appropriate course of action.
- Remain current with pharmacy benefit industry trends and maintain competitive knowledge.
- Develop proposals for prospective clients.
- Travel (approx.25%) to meet with clients, customers, prospects and other enterprise business units.
Education & Experience:
- Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Or Pharmacist
- 5+ years of pharmacy experience overall
- 3+ years of pharmacy benefit experience (PBM, pharmacy benefit consulting)
- Pharmacist License
