Dr. Anthony Bared (https://www.dranthonybared.com/) is recognized for his mastery in facial plastic surgery with a special focus on rhinoplasty and hair restoration. He is highly regarded for his technical prowess, aesthetic eye, and integrity. Dr. Bared is in practice alongside world-renowned triple board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon and Hair Restoration Specialist, Dr. Jeffrey Epstein. Together with the support of an onsite dedicated hair restoration team, they both offer the most modern techniques in hair restoration. Over the years, Dr. Bared has been exposed to some of the most complicated revision rhinoplasties. His training with Dr. Toriumi, regarded as the most well-known rhinoplasty surgeon in the world, greatly influenced his use of the more modern open structure technique in rhinoplasty. The entire staff exemplifies compassion and kindness, with everyone working towards the same goal - which is to provide the highest level of care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Summary/Objective

We are seeking a Surgical Technician to work alongside Dr. Bared in our busy practice. Our office is extremely professional and fast-paced. Qualified applicants must have acute tactile abilities with steady hands, good dexterity, and excellent eyesight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Always maintain sterile technique during surgery, as well as ensuring that all equipment needed adhere to sterile practice.
• Make sure that the required items needed for all surgical procedures are in the office.
• Wash and pack instruments, make sure that they are ready for sterilization.
• Strong communication skills with peers.
• Assist the surgeon in passing the instruments during the procedures, using proper techniques.
• Keep an accurate count on sharps such as blades, sutures, needles.  As well as an accurate count of the local anesthesia injected during the procedure.
• Assist the surgeon in a first assistant role as needed.
• On occasion, circulate during procedures.
• Stock the Operating Room with items needed for surgery.
• Assist anesthesiologist with restocking as well as when patient it’s being prepared in the operating room.
• Help turn over the operating room and prepare for the next day or for the next case as needed.
• On occasion, when needed, assist in other procedures such as hair transplant cases, training will be provided.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday start at 5:00am and leave when cases are done
