Event Operations Manager

We're looking for a dynamic Event Operations Manager to lead a powerful portfolio of in-person and virtual events across the UK — from intimate roundtables to high-impact summits. You'll be at the heart of our mission to inspire and unite senior technology leaders, working across our iconic CIO and CSO brands at Foundry.

This role is perfect for someone who can think big-picture while managing the fine details — someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, logistics, and strategic execution. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, content, and leadership to bring high-impact events to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of in-person and virtual events, from strategic planning to post-event wrap-up
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, venues, vendors, and contractors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align event programmes, branding, and attendee engagement
  • Track KPIs and implement post-event insights for continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ years of event management experience, ideally in B2B or corporate environments
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale or high-stakes events
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Expertise in logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
  • Experience with event tech tools/platforms is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
