Video Host

Job Description: Foundry is seeking a high-energy, entertaining on-screen host for 2 new shows to be produced from our NYC studio, starting in September. The ideal candidate will be in front of the camera conducting interviews as well as playing the role of a coordinating producer -- booking guests and scheduling recording times. Our team of Foundry editors will provide a steady stream of target guests as well as background research and content. The host must have experience in front of the camera, working in video production/content creation. A journalism background as well as a working knowledge of enterprise technology is helpful but not required.   

This is a part time contract position, 10-15 hours per week. The hourly range for this role is $75 - $80/ per hour.

Show Descriptions:

1. The Industry Standard is a weekly 30-minute video and podcast series filmed in our NYC studio that dives deep into the technology industry for tech-savvy viewers. Each week we interview a C-suite executive from the tech world and break down industry news for tech audiences. 
2. CIO Leadership Live is a 30-minute newsmagazine-style video and podcast series, filmed in our NYC studio, with a variety of short, recurring segments, including experts / IT leaders interviews.

Qualifications:  

• Must have a demo reel.  
• Must have experience in front of the camera as host and/or moderator.  
• Journalism/tech background helpful; social media expertise and a social following strongly preferred.
• Strong desire to create high-quality, entertaining content.  
• Expertise with all social media platforms, including the very latest in best practices for optimizing content for audience engagement, is helpful.
