Facilities Technician

We are on the lookout for a Facilities Technician to join our Facilities team. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for maintaining the facilities to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workplace for all employees.
Shift Time: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
In This Role
- Provide hands-on support for operational needs, including facility upkeep and maintenance
- Manage inventory for parts and supplies necessary for repairs and improvements
- Maintain cleanliness of facility through sweeping, mopping, dusting, yard work, and building maintenance
- Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers and compactors for trash and scrap removal
- Contribute to safety initiatives, including emergency preparedness and safety committees
- Identify and report maintenance issues, spills, or hazardous conditions promptly
- Restock cleaning supplies in common areas, bathrooms, and breakrooms as needed
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workplace safety and practices
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
- 3+ years of experience in Facilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Carpentry, and general repairs, including the ability to fix windows, doors, locks, and other building components
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count and sort items
- Ability to multitasks while working independently or as part of a team
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
