Allocations Analyst

The Allocations Analyst plays a critical role within the Sales Operations team by managing demand-based inventory allocation to support revenue growth and customer fulfillment goals. This role partners cross-functionally with other internal teams to ensure inventory is allocated efficiently and strategically. The Allocations Analyst is responsible for analyzing inventory flow, developing allocation strategies, and ensuring the right product is allocated to the right customer at the right time to support company objectives.

In This Role 

  • Manage a demand-based allocation process that ensures a balance between different customers to maximize available inventory and shipment of sales orders 
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, and Inventory teams
  • Review and determine what inventory can be re-allocated to current sales orders to increase revenue
  • Ensure that Four Hands largest customers' needs are met by managing the allocation side of the internal reserve order allocation process
  • Manage Allocation Inbox and provide support to internal teams in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain reports for supporting teams to satisfy customers' report needs
  • Train new team members on allocation process and uphold knowledge to be system subject manager expert
  • Continuously improve the order allocation process through new analysis techniques and better communications
  • Actively participate and provide feedback in new technology implementations 
  • Drive and participate in cross-functional projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person 

  • 3+ years of experience in allocation, planning, or inventory management 
  • Bachelors in related field required, or equivalent experience
  • Strong Excel skills (pivots, formulas, data sourcing) required
  • Process-oriented mindset with superior analytical skills and creative problem-solving capabilities
  • Work independently and able to take initiative and ownership of assigned work projects
  • Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Attention to detail, thorough, organized
