Product Development Coordinator

Four Hands is looking to hire a Product Development Coordinator to work directly with the Product Development and Merchandising teams to support the design and development of new products. This role will work closely with the Austin and Overseas Product Development teams to ensure data and information on new designs are complete and well-organized. The ideal candidate should have the ability to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously and understand the time-sensitive nature of the product development cycle.
In This Role
- Manage product development timelines and calendars
- Coordinate the review process of incoming samples
- Partner with Product Development, Merchant, and Planning teams to provide clear and timely product status updates
- Track and manage the development of new finishes and assist in managing finish libraries and coding
- Attend set-up for wholesale tradeshows, supporting the Visual Merchandising team as needed
- Prepare professional, branded presentations for internal and external customer use
- Provide administrative support for Product Development, including accurate data entry and tracking of new developments in the product lifecycle management (PLM) system
- Manage the speed-to-market process of adding new finishes and fabrics to existing products
- Travel a minimum of 1 trip per year for tradeshows
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
- 1+ year of experience in product development, design coordination, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel a minimum of 1 trip per year for tradeshows
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams
- Strong time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must be willing to travel as needed
