Foursight Capital/OneMain Auto is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the position of a Software Developer Intern within the Microsoft technology stack.
As a “full-stack” Software Developer Intern, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software for Foursight’s proprietary loan origination system (LOS), loan servicing system (LSS), www.Foursight.com, www.rateworks.com, phone system (Twilio Flex), and other ancillary systems. This position will directly interface with subject matter experts across all business lines, including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Credit, Legal, and Customer Service.
Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr DOE
Schedule: Up to 25 hours per week until graduation. (Monday through Friday)
Skillset
- C# and the .NET Framework
- T-SQL (SSMS), Database Design & Development
- WPF, XAML, LINQ
- WCF, JSON, XML, and API integration
- MVVM Design Pattern
- MVC, HTML, and JQuery
- React and Nodejs
- Assist in multiple-tier architectural design
- Integrating systems with off-site partners and vendors
- Assist in Twilio as needed
- Expand and maintain the current Loan & Lease Services System (Bedrock)
- Develop and maintain the www.foursight.com and www.rateworks.com
- Sustain the legacy Loan Servicing System (Bedrock)
- Build out the new Loan Origination System (Bedrock/Lapis)
- Communicate with 3rd party services, APIs, and other ancillary services
- Design and develop ad hoc reports, SQL Server Jobs, and Telerick reporting files
- Collaborate with the team on design, development, technology, and testing strategies
- Other duties as may be prescribed from time to time by the Chief Technologies Officer
Education / Work Experience
- Preferred 1 year of hands on experience developing Windows-based and web-based solutions using Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Must be self-directed, detail oriented, positive attitude, driven, and able to work independently in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
- Must be a Junior in college pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (C.S.) or closely related field.
