Senior Principal System Administrator
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Senior System Administrator for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. The selected candidate will join an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications. The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working on a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges. Primary responsibilities include IAVA patching and reporting, maintaining various versions of Windows Server, providing support for troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems, patching and software maintenance of Linux servers.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Fifteen (15) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required as specified in the individual TTOs
- Proficiency with maintaining various versions of Windows Server including hardening, patching, upgrading and disk management.
- Linux server experience including patching and software maintenance.
- Experience with IAVA patching and reporting
- Experience in maintaining and upgrades various types of installed software
- Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting of computer systems and software
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with VM/AWS
- Knowledge of SQL Server Database
- Experience managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS
- Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence & Jira
- Experience with Razor/Blazor
- Experience with .NET
- Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer
- Experience with COTS integration
- Experience with Blackboard, SumTotal or any learning management system

The estimated salary range for this position is between $190,000 and $230,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package. Actual salaries are influenced by several factors, such as location, the individual’s education, skills, experience, and competencies, as well as contract affordability and organizational needs.
