Customer Onboarding and Integration Engineer
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Customer Onboarding and Integration Engineer to support our client’s intelligence analysis products and capabilities. This position involves providing software development, customer outreach, engagement, and onboarding capabilities that enhance existing and emerging client capabilities. This role focuses on supporting customer onboarding, coordinating integration activities, and enabling secure, efficient data movement across environments.
The Journeyman Customer Onboarding and Integration Engineer work directly with mission partners, CDSO, and enterprise services such as Service+ to facilitate onboarding and integration efforts. This role bridges customer needs with technical implementation, ensuring onboarding activities align with mission requirements, compliance standards, and operational timelines.
Responsibilities
- Support customer onboarding and integration efforts for ACDaaS capabilities
- Act as a liaison between consumers, CDSO, Service+, and development teams
- Gather, document, and refine customer requirements, including data mapping and integration needs
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure alignment with ACDaaS compliance requirements
- Assist in implementing integration solutions in collaboration with development teams
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure timely and effective onboarding execution
- Track onboarding progress and provide visibility into integration status and outcomes
- Support troubleshooting of onboarding and integration issues
- Ensure onboarding activities align with established processes, standards, and mission objectives
- Contribute to documentation of onboarding procedures, integration patterns, and lessons learned
Key Technologies
- Linux
- Familiarity with backend systems and integration concepts (APIs, data mapping, file-based transfers)
- Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or similar)
- Understanding of containerized and serverless environments
- Familiarity with data transfer and file processing concepts
- Familiarity with dashboards, metrics, and operational visibility tools
- Understanding of secure data handling and access control concepts (IAM, least privilege)
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (eligible for CI Poly).
- 3–7 years of experience in software development, system integration, or technical support roles
- Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders in a technical or mission environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Experience using GitLab or similar tools for collaboration and tracking
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting customer onboarding or system integration efforts
- Familiarity secure data movement environments
- Experience working with enterprise service processes such as Service+
- Basic development or scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Experience with data mapping or integration workflows (using JSON or other object notation)
- Familiarity with operational dashboards and metrics reporting
