PRODUCTION COORDINATOR/EXPEDITOR

As a Production Coordinator/Expeditor, you’ll orchestrate the flow of parts, materials, and information across printing, machining, post-processing, inspection, and shipping. You will be expected to set the pace of the factory - what runs next, what moves where, and what clears the bottleneck in order to execute with precision. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving logistical puzzles in real time, and wants to make a visible impact on the throughput of a high-tech factory. You won’t just be moving material, you’ll be orchestrating the heartbeat of production, ensuring that parts, people, and processes are always in sync. Responsibilities:
- Own the movement of parts and materials across the factory to keep production on schedule
- Coordinate the release and flow of work orders based on capacity, materials, and priorities
- Track part status and provide clear, accurate updates to leadership and production teams
- Expedite critical parts through the production cycle to ensure on-time delivery
- Support logistics by staging workflows and coordinating off-site processing when needed
- Anticipate downstream needs, flag potential bottlenecks, and drive proactive solutions
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to safely handle heavy parts and materials
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Production Leads to resolve rework or rejected product issues
- Keep the production floor organized, tidy, and optimized for efficiency
- Maintain data accuracy in Freeform’s MES system and help resolve discrepancies
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience as a production coordinator, expeditor, production planner, manufacturing specialist, or similar role
- Experience using an MES, ERP, or MRP system
Nice to Have:
- Technical educational background
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience analyzing data and developing reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- “No job too big or small” mentality
- Extreme sense of urgency; high-energy and can-do attitude
- Ability to stand, climb ladders, use forklifts, and operate tooling
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. unassisted

- We are located in Hawthorne, CA in a 35,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility featuring large open spaces for team collaboration, R&D, and production, as well as easy access to the 405, 105, and 110 freeways. - Compensation
- As a growing company, the salary range is intentionally wide as we determine the most appropriate package for each individual taking into consideration years of experience, educational background, and unique skills and abilities as demonstrated throughout the interview process. Our intent is to offer a salary that is commensurate for the company’s current stage of development and allows the employee to grow and develop within a role.
- In addition to the significant stock option package, the estimated pay range for this role is $25-$35/hour, inclusive of all levels/seniority within this discipline.
