Associate Director, Commercial Engineering
About this opportunity:
We are seeking an Associate Director of Commercial Engineering Services to lead Freenome’s electronic record integration initiatives. You will plan, develop, implement, and manage support for secure electronic data exchange with our partners encompassing the entirety of the order to results process. This is a hands-on Commercial role for someone who is able to drive an EHR implementation from pre-Sales support to completion, ensuring vendors and customers hit key milestones to achieve operational success. This position plays a critical role in developing systems, producing and mapping requirements, testing, and establishing protocols that ensure operational readiness and adoption of Freenome’s products and services.
The ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about Health System infrastructure and decision making, and has a track record of creating strong and highly embedded customer relationships. They also have proven experience in developing analytics and reporting functionality to support the executive strategy. They are responsible for the expansion of Freenome’s product usage within an integrated customer health system.
The role reports to the Director of Customer Success. This role will be a remote role and will require some travel up to 20% of time.
What you’ll do:
- Leverage Redox to develop strategic integrations with health systems and industry partners to enable order to results capabilities and digital health tools across major EHR vendors, including Epic.
- Work with Orders to Cash Product lead and others to execute EHR strategy.
- Manage EHR implementation projects with Redox and customer partner to enable bidirectional interfaces.
- Provide customer relationship management and pre-sale connectivity support to enable business growth.
- Work with implementation team during customer onboarding to complete technical integration for EHR products.
- Provide business reviews, performance dashboards, and analytics information to inform EHR strategy and to achieve account health and volume benchmarks.
- Support customer success in efforts to help increase product adoption where technology can be used.
- Provide general technical support and trouble shooting of Freenome’s software solutions beyond EHR.
Must haves:
- At least 7 years of verifiable experience in Electronic Health Record (EHR) program management, healthcare IT, or interoperability solutions in healthcare.
- At least 3 years of this experience should include a customer facing component.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of hospital, health system, and primary clinical care information systems and operations.
- Experience working with Redox.
- Experience managing stakeholders and partners in a complex integrated environment.
Nice to haves:
- Epic Certification.
- Project management and process leadership.
- Strong communication skills.
- Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for electronic health records.
- Proficiency in presentations and business reviews for internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Lean fundamentals.
Benefits and additional information:
The US target range of our base salary for new hires is $158,313 - $224,438. You will also be eligible to receive pre-IPO equity, cash bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits depending on the position offered.
