The Opportunity: Intern
Freestone is searching for qualified candidates to join our Client Service Team as a Client Service Intern in Seattle, WA. The Intern program generally runs from mid-June to mid-August, with continuous training and networking opportunities throughout. As the summer progresses, learning and project responsibilities also progress and there may be an opportunity for an extended term. Exceptional interns with a demonstrated interest in and aptitude for Client Service may be offered a full-time opportunity to stay on with Freestone long-term as an Analyst.
Successful candidates for this position will have a demonstrated track record of both educational and professional achievement, along with a passion for going above and beyond, operational efficiency, proactive problem solving and a strong interest in financial services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Client Advisor Team in their daily business practices
- Help organize, track, and assist with team projects, seeing them through to a successful completion
- Prepare forms such as new account forms, beneficiary updates, and other custodial maintenance related forms for the Client Advisor Team
- Assist in preparing relevant marketing materials and proposals for prospective client meetings
- Maintain key client information and updates in the CRM and reporting system
- Provide backup support for administrative functions, including covering the reception desk
Your Competencies and Characteristics
- Rising Seniors in pursuit of a degree preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar focus area
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-starter who can work independently on projects with little oversight
- Strong attention to detail and operational processes
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
- Capability to manage projects independently and readiness to assume a high level of responsibility
- Demonstrated outstanding client service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
Compensation
- Expected hourly wage is $25 / hour with the potential for college credit if applicable.
- Catered lunches Monday – Thursday in office
The anticipated start date for this internship will be June of 2025. This is an on site, in office full-time internship. Relocation and housing assistance is not provided.
