About the Role
We are looking for an Analyst that is ready to join our team in Seattle. Under the guidance of more seasoned teammates, you will provide operational support across all teams within the organization. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Seattle, Washington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Support
- Deliver excellent operational service across departments: Client Advisory, Client Service, Compliance, Investments, and Accounting
- Assist with Freestone’s operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
- Support the Limited Partnership (LP) ticketing process end-to-end, including ongoing LP transfers and active fund launches
- Administer the Client Portal, ensuring timely posting of relevant documents
- Reporting and Data Management
- Provide firmwide portfolio performance expertise across asset classes to ensure reporting consistency and accuracy
- Support the delivery of quarterly client reporting and assist with Freestone’s monthly composite reporting
- Process private investment statements to offer a comprehensive view of client portfolios.
- Research and resolve ad hoc issues related to client-facing reporting and operational applications
- CRM and Systems Expertise
- Become a subject matter expert in Tamarac Reporting
- Become a subject matter expert in Practifi CRM
- Troubleshoot and support operational systems to resolve issues efficiently
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business management; other degrees will be considered
- 2-5 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Tamarac and SQL preferred, but not a requirement
- Team oriented character with an exceptionally strong work ethic
- Interested in starting a career in Financial Services
- Solid understanding of investment performance measurements and statistics
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Demonstrated outstanding client service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with close attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and research skills
- A commitment to consistently producing a high-quality work product

- The expected base salary for this position is $78,000 – $90,000 depending on experience and skill set
- In addition, the position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
