Location: San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County & Orange County, CA
Pay Range: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour (DOE)
Overview:
We are a fast-growing, privately-owned company seeking a Regional Facilities Maintenance Technician to support multiple multi-family residential communities across Southern California. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled technician with at least 3 years of property maintenance experience who enjoys working independently, traveling between sites, and ensuring high standards of safety and comfort across our portfolio.
You’ll play a key role in preserving the quality of our assets by troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing repairs, and conducting preventive work to keep properties running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform general repairs and maintenance on windows, doors, walls, and building surfaces
· Repair leaking or broken plumbing to prevent property damage
· Address electrical issues including damaged wiring or outages
· Maintain HVAC systems for reliable climate control
· Conduct preventative maintenance such as roof sealing and hazard mitigation
· Ensure communal areas are clean and safe (sweeping, mopping, trash removal)
· Refinish and replace floors, including carpets and wood
· Paint interiors and exteriors as needed
· Lubricate and maintain locks, hinges, gates, and hardware
· Monitor and replenish maintenance inventory
· Respond to tenant lockouts and general maintenance requests
· Coordinate with vendors and specialists for complex repairs
· Ensure emergency systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, exits) are functional
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment or property maintenance
· EPA or HVAC certification (required)
· Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
· Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for extended periods
· Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Availability to work weekends as needed
· Comfortable traveling across multiple property locations
