Job Title: Floating Flooring & Carpet Technician – Multi-Family Properties
Location: San Fernando Valley & Los Angeles County, CA
Pay Range: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are a rapidly expanding, privately-owned company committed to excellence in property maintenance across Southern California. As we grow, we are seeking a Floating Flooring & Carpet Technician with strong experience in floor installation, repair, and general property maintenance to support our multi-family residential communities.
Position Overview:
This floating technician role is ideal for a hands-on professional with deep experience in flooring and carpet installation. The role also involves supporting a variety of building maintenance tasks across multiple sites. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of our properties while helping maintain a high standard of service for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install and replace carpets, hardwood, vinyl, and laminate flooring in residential units.
· Perform general property maintenance including repairs to windows, doors, walls, and fixtures.
· Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues such as leaks or fixture problems.
· Address electrical repairs such as damaged wiring or light fixture issues.
· Apply preventive maintenance, including sealing flat roofs and other protective measures.
· Identify and correct safety hazards to prevent injuries.
· Paint building interiors and exteriors as needed.
· Lubricate door hardware, locks, hinges, and gates.
· Sweep, mop, and vacuum communal areas.
· Dispose of trash in shared areas and ensure cleanliness.
· Track and manage maintenance supply inventory.
· Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, alarms, and emergency exits.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in residential or multi-family settings.
· Strong hands-on experience in flooring and carpet installation/removal.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
· Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Must be available to work weekends when required.
· Reliable transportation for travel across assigned properties.
