Maintenance Technician (La Verne)

Overview:

We are a rapidly growing, privately-owned company dedicated to providing top-notch service and maintenance to our facilities. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician/Porter for our apartment property in La Verne, CA. The ideal candidate will handle both porter and maintenance duties, ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in maintenance, HVAC, and problem-solving will be essential in keeping our operations running smoothly. Join our dynamic team and contribute to our success as we continue to expand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
  • Fabricate or modify components to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, record maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with HVAC is a Plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with supervising or leading a team is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time

Location: Onsite in La Verne, CA

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
