FronteraCare is working in partnership with the Taos Municipal Schools to bring high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with autism and related developmental differences. We’re seeking caring, energetic, and service-minded people who may be interested in pursuing a career as a Behavior Technicians (BTs)/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children in the classroom and help them thrive.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy that transforms lives.
  • Support the educational experience by assisting in the classroom setting, promoting learning, engagement, and social development.
  • Create and assist in facilitating engaging and effective learning experiences for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their full potential.
  • Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan.
  • Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school appropriate behavior for children.

Who You Are:

Requirements:

  • Proof of high school graduation (Diploma or GED) 
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance
  • College enrollment or degree preferred

Training and Development: 

  • RBT Certification Support: 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam support provided.

Ongoing Supervision: Weekly BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) supervision and feedbackProfessional Development: Opportunities to grow into advanced clinical or leadership roles within FronteraCare

  • Location: Taos, NM (school-based)
  • Employment Type: Full-time or part-time opportunities available

The pay range for this role is between $22.00-29.00 per hour depending on experience.
