Senior Product Manager

Denver, Colorado; San Francisco, California

Frontera is reimagining how children with autism and other behavioral health needs get the care they deserve. We bring together world-class clinicians, technologists, and autism specialists to build cutting-edge AI tools that help care teams work smarter and spend more time with the children and families who need them most.

Our platform is HIPAA-compliant and designed for the real-world needs of behavioral health teams - from psychologists to ABA therapists. By combining evidence-based care with powerful technology, we’re expanding access to high-quality services for families everywhere.

Our Mission

Frontera exists to close the care gap: every child, no matter where they live, should be able to access effective behavioral healthcare.

The Role

Frontera is seeking a Senior Product Manager who is deeply accountable for outcomes, not just process or output. This role is for someone who brings strong technical judgment, intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset, and who thrives in ambiguity.

You will own complex, cross-functional product initiatives at the intersection of AI/ML, data infrastructure, and clinical workflows. You will be expected to form strong points of view, drive clarity where none exists, and move multiple workstreams forward in parallel. This role requires real partnership with Engineering, Design, ML, Clinical, and Commercial teams — not as a coordinator, but as a leader who helps teams do their best work.

This is not a role for someone who prefers polished process or perfect inputs. It is a role for someone who asks the right questions, dives deep, and takes ownership when things are unclear or uncomfortable.

What You’ll Do

  • Own outcomes, not just roadmaps. Define success metrics and be accountable for adoption, retention, efficiency, and clinical impact.
  • Lead complex, zero-to-one initiatives from problem definition through delivery and adoption, including technical scoping and tradeoff decisions.
  • Develop deep understanding of users and workflows — clinicians, caregivers, and internal teams — and translate that understanding into clear product direction.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, ML, and Data Science to design technically sound solutions, making informed decisions about scope, sequencing, and feasibility.
  • Actively drive cross-functional collaboration, surfacing tradeoffs early and ensuring alignment through direct engagement rather than process alone.
  • Operate effectively across multiple concurrent initiatives, continuously prioritizing and reallocating focus based on impact and urgency.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and unclear ownership and proactively resolve them — including setting up working sessions, clarifying decisions, and unblocking teams.
  • Use data, experimentation, and qualitative feedback to iterate and improve products in production.
  • Communicate clearly and candidly, with a bias toward action, shared ownership, and team outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fast-moving startup or scale-up environments.
  • Strong technical depth and comfort working closely with Engineering and ML teams on complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive ambiguous initiatives and make informed tradeoff decisions.
  • Track record of owning outcomes end-to-end, including driving adoption and real-world impact.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity — you seek to understand how systems, workflows, and constraints really work.
  • Strong collaboration skills grounded in trust, humility, and active engagement (not just process facilitation).
  • Comfort operating without perfect information and willingness to take accountability for decisions.
  • Clear, direct communicator who emphasizes team outcomes over individual ownership.
  • Passion for building products that improve care delivery and patient outcomes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric, behavioral, or broader healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with healthcare data systems, privacy, and regulatory considerations
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML-powered products in production
  • Experience working closely with clinical or operational stakeholders
  • Spanish/English bilingual
