Senior Product Manager

Denver, Colorado; San Francisco, California

Frontera is reimagining how children with autism and other behavioral health needs get the care they deserve. We bring together world-class clinicians, technologists, and autism specialists to build cutting-edge AI tools that help care teams work smarter and spend more time with the children and families who need them most.

Our platform is HIPAA-compliant and designed for the real-world needs of behavioral health teams - from psychologists to ABA therapists. By combining evidence-based care with powerful technology, we’re expanding access to high-quality services for families everywhere.

Our Mission

Frontera exists to close the care gap: every child, no matter where they live, should be able to access effective behavioral healthcare.

Frontera is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy and execution for our Direct-to-Parent (D2P) experience - a parent-facing application that helps families navigate the nuanced, often overwhelming autism care journey.

This role is deeply outcome-oriented and user-driven. We are looking for someone who combines strong product judgment, deep user research instincts, and growth awareness with the ability to ship practical, high-impact solutions in ambiguous environments.

You will own complex product initiatives across user experience, engagement, activation, and retention - working at the intersection of AI-powered guidance, behavioral health content, and caregiver decision support. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, and Growth/Marketing teams to build experiences that families trust and return to.

This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable conducting user discovery, shaping product direction, and driving execution - not just managing processes, but creating clarity and momentum where none exists.

What You’ll Do

  • Own outcomes - not just features - for the D2P product experience, including activation, engagement, retention, and user trust metrics
  • Lead zero-to-one and iterative initiatives across the parent journey, from onboarding and guidance to ongoing support and decision navigation
  • Conduct and drive deep user research with parents and caregivers, translating insights into product direction and prioritization
  • Develop a strong understanding of caregiver needs, emotional context, and behavioral health decision workflows
  • Partner closely with Growth and Marketing to align product experience with acquisition, lifecycle, and engagement strategies
  • Design and iterate on user journeys, funnels, and engagement loops in a B2C and B2B2C context
  • Collaborate with Engineering and ML teams to deliver technically sound, scalable solutions that incorporate AI-driven guidance and personalization
  • Make clear scope and tradeoff decisions across speed, quality, safety, and user impact
  • Use qualitative research, behavioral data, and experimentation to continuously improve product performance
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through direct engagement and strong product thinking - not process alone
  • Identify gaps, risks, and unclear ownership and proactively resolve them to keep teams moving

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with meaningful experience in B2C or B2B2C products
  • Strong user research and discovery skills - you know how to uncover real needs, not just stated preferences
  • Experience building and optimizing user journeys, onboarding flows, and engagement funnels
  • Exposure to growth, lifecycle, or product marketing partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive ambiguous initiatives independently from problem definition through adoption
  • Strong product judgment and comfort making tradeoffs with imperfect information
  • Technical fluency and comfort working closely with Engineering and ML teams
  • Track record of owning outcomes end-to-end, not just shipping features
  • High intellectual curiosity and systems thinking
  • Collaborative leadership style grounded in trust, humility, and accountability
  • Clear, direct communicator focused on team and user outcomes

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience building products for parents, caregivers, or patient populations
  • Background in healthcare, behavioral health, digital health, or regulated environments
  • Experience with AI-powered or personalization-driven products
  • Experience partnering closely with Growth, Lifecycle, or Product Marketing teams
  • Familiarity with trust-sensitive UX and high-emotion user journeys
  • Spanish/English bilingual
