Position Details:

• Overview: Do you enjoy having a unique opportunity in patient care behind the scenes in order to eradicate skin cancers? Join our team in the Mohs Surgery lab as a Mohs Histotech! 
• Job Title: Mohs Histotechnician
• Location: Edmonds and Seattle Northgate
• Typical Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-4:30 pm
• Wage Range Based on Experience: $38.00-$44.00 hourly (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Mohs technician, with proficiency in tissue processing, embedding, frozen sectioning, staining, and slide preparation for microscopic examination.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate specimen identification, tissue orientation, and high-quality sections.
• Experience preparing reagents, solutions, and control slides; performing stain quality checks; and completing laboratory QC documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced Mohs laboratory while maintaining tissue and slide quality.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with Mohs providers, clinical staff, and fellow technicians.
• Commitment to laboratory safety, equipment care, and compliance with established laboratory policies and procedures.
