About the Role:
We are looking for a Financial Transmission Rights (FTR) Trader to expand our congestion trading efforts across multiple ISO/RTO markets. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing FTR strategies, while contributing to the continued development of our analytical framework and market approach. You will collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders across related desks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute proprietary FTR trading strategies across multiple ISO markets (PJM, MISO)
- Conduct detailed congestion analysis, auction modeling, and secondary market evaluations
- Monitor and manage risk, including position exposure and PnL attribution
- Partner with internal teams to enhance tools and improve execution efficiency
About You:
- 3-7+ years of experience trading virtuals, FTRs or similar power market products
- Strong understanding of ISO/RTO market rules, auction processes, and transmission dynamics
- Deep analytical and programming capabilities
- Ability to make quick, rational and informed decisions in fast-paced market conditions
Annual Base Salary: $300,000. Total compensation packages consist of base salary and a discretionary bonus.
