About the role

Health-E Commerce is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Director of Marketing to lead growth and marketing strategy for HSA Store. This role owns the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that accelerate revenue growth, strengthen brand differentiation, and expand engagement across direct-to-consumer and B2B2C channels.

This is a player-coach role that requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution. The Director will partner closely with ecommerce, growth marketing, creative, UX, sales, and analytics teams to drive high-impact initiatives that improve customer acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value.

Key responsibilities

  • Marketing strategy and growth Own the integrated marketing strategy for HSA Store across consumer and partner channels. Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies that drive acquisition, increase conversion, and improve lifetime value. Lead initiatives that position HSA Store as the leading destination for maximizing tax-advantaged healthcare spending.
  • Integrated campaign leadership Lead the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across lifecycle marketing, digital channels, and partner programs. Manage marketing calendars and cross-channel coordination to ensure messaging and creative align with business objectives and maximize performance.
  • B2B2C and partner marketing Partner with B2B & B2B2C Marketing and sales to create co-branded campaigns, activation strategies, and enablement materials that drive engagement and revenue.
  • Brand positioning and messaging Drive the evolution of HSA Store's brand positioning to clearly differentiate the platform in a competitive market. Ensure consistency in messaging, voice, and visual identity across all consumer and partner touchpoints.
  • Creative and content direction Provide strategic direction to creative and content teams to develop high-impact assets including email campaigns, digital media, landing pages, and partner materials. Ensure all output reflects the brand and delivers measurable performance.
  • Performance and optimization Define KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI. Analyze campaign performance and customer insights to drive continuous improvement. Foster a test-and-learn culture across the team.
  • Cross-functional leadership Partner with ecommerce, paid media, CRM, creative, UX, product, analytics, and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives. Provide regular performance reporting and insights to senior leadership.

What you'll need

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, ecommerce, or digital growth roles
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable revenue impact
  • Experience working across both direct-to-consumer and B2B2C business models
  • Strong background in lifecycle marketing, digital acquisition, and performance optimization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategy
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to influence across teams

You'll have accelerated revenue growth for HSA Store, expanded customer acquisition and engagement, strengthened the brand's competitive positioning, and delivered marketing programs that drive measurable improvements in conversion, retention, and lifetime value.

Compensation, Benefits, & Additional Details:

Health-E Commerce's compensation philosophy is grounded in market data and internal equity to ensure fairness and consistency across the team.  Individuals new to the company should generally expect offers to fall between the entry point and midpoint of the salary range.  Our goal is to provide an offer that supports growth potential within the role and allows for future salary progression.  

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus Eligibility: Up to 20%
