Intern, European Investments

The European Investment team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support the Zurich-based Primaries team. Working closely with investment professionals, the intern will gain exposure to private market investment strategies, manager research, portfolio analysis, market intelligence, and investment operations while contributing to ongoing projects and team initiatives.

This internship is designed to provide practical experience in the alternative investment industry and exposure to the investment decision-making process. The European Investments Intern will report directly to a member of the Zurich Primaries team and will work closely with investment professionals across the broader investment organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with investment research and market analysis across private market strategies.
  • Support the collection, organization, and review of investment manager and fund information.
  • Prepare summaries, reports, presentations, and supporting materials for internal meetings and discussions.
  • Conduct industry, market, and competitive research using internal and external resources.
  • Assist with portfolio-related analysis and data validation activities.
  • Support due diligence projects and investment team initiatives, as assigned.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation relating to investment opportunities and portfolio activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in investments, financial markets, and alternative asset management.
