About The Role:

Our Finance department is looking to add a dynamic Accounts Payable Supervisor to the Accounts Payable team. This multifunctional role requires the ability to work efficiently and wear multiple hats while meeting deadlines and achieving goals. This position will report to the Director of Treasury. We are seeking an individual with a genuine interest in finance, customer service, and design. The right candidate will thrive in our fun and fast-paced environment.  

This is a Hybrid Role (3 days in New York City & 2 days Remote).

Salary: $65k - 70k

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable team, reporting to the Associate Director of Treasury
  • Select invoices for a weekly payment run and obtain approval for payments from the leadership team
  • Approve invoices from vendors
  • Approve payments and templates in bank portals
  • Monitor an inbox and respond to inquiries from vendors regarding payment remittances, past due invoices, and statement balances
  • Set up new vendors and verbally confirm banking information
  • Upload NACHA files through the bank portal
  • Prepare, file, and send 1099s annually
  • Prepare weekly reports for the leadership team
  • Respond to and manage all inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the accuracy of information
  • Assist with additional projects as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Supervising experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of VLOOKUP formulas and Pivot tables
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite, including Outlook and Word
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and change direction based on business needs
  • High attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Highly organized and exceptional follow-through skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus

Salary Range
