About The Role:

Oversee the events team and all events for Schumacher, Tillet, and FREDERIC magazine, making sure events are executed professionally and with an eye for beauty (and fun!).  These include branding events like the FREDERIC It List gala and the Schumacher Paris Deco Off party, as well as designer dinners, book signings, showroom panels and showroom openings. 

This is a global role requiring travel to priority events in the U.S. and Europe, and flexibility in working hours to support event execution across time zones. 

Event production includes:

  • Strategic planning: Develop event concepts, goals, theme, and speaker/ panelist ideas
  • Budget Management: create, manage, and monitor event budgets, negotiating contracts, and tracking expenses to maximize revenue and control costs.
  • Writing copy for invitations to follow the brand guideline
  • Marketing and Promotion: Working with the art director and creative director to design invitations, ensuring they get printed and sent out well in advance of the event.
  • Vendor & Venue Management: Finding and securing elevated and brand-appropriate venues, florists, entertainment, etc.
    • conceiving and producing event decor (tablecloths, napkins, printed menus, flowers, etc.)
    • food and wine selection
  • Working with local regions to come up with appropriate and thoughtful guest lists tailored to each event
  • Working with managing directors throughout the country to make sure events happen seamlessly
  • Logistics & Operations: Coordinate all event details, including setup, teardown, transportation, staffing, permits, and on-site execution.

  • Possess a discerning eye and deep appreciation for luxury, design, and elevated brand experiences.
  • A hands-on, confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Collaborative and solutions-oriented, with a natural ability to build trust across teams and regions.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience producing and executing high-end, brand-driven events
  • Demonstrated experience leading, structuring, and scaling an events function or team
  • Proven experience managing and developing direct reports, including setting goals, providing feedback, and building high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to manage complex budgets, negotiate with vendors, and oversee multiple external partners
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple workstreams under tight deadlines

Salary Range

$85,000 - $90,000 USD
