About Role:

As an Installation Specialist at Patterson Flynn, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our custom rug installations. Working closely with our Account Managers, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at delivering superior results and exceeding client expectations.

You Will:

  • Assessing the amount of carpet required for both Broadloom and Custom goods.
  • Conducting precise measurements using templates and translating them into AutoCAD for custom-shaped designs. This will require laying out the templates in person provided from our workrooms, measuring them, and inputting them into AutoCAD.
  • Collaborating with our Custom Art Department to provide layout designs for custom rugs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
  • Take measurement plans from workrooms and put them into AutoCAD to provide a digital template for the Custom Production team to overlay the artwork for custom rugs.
  • Creating comprehensive carpet seaming diagrams and installation layouts for our installers to follow, optimizing efficiency and precision during installations.
  • Utilizing your expertise in carpet installation techniques, provide guidance and instructions to address inquiries regarding the installation of different materials based on the scope of work to Patterson Flynn’s Account Managers.
  • Serve as a resource for answering questions related to proper installation methods, materials compatibility, and troubleshooting issues that may arise during the installation process.

You Have/Are:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the carpet industry, with a strong understanding of installation processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable estimating software, with the ability to create accurate designs and measurements.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000 USD
