Director of Quality Assurance

Location: Remote – Anywhere (Open to applicants located anywhere around the globe)

As Director of Quality Assurance, you’ll shape and lead the QA function within our Content Solutions practice, thriving in an environment where ambiguity is common and turning it into clarity and momentum. You’ll approach each new challenge as an opportunity to build something meaningful, working closely with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Delivery, and AI Enablement to move work forward in thoughtful and pragmatic ways.

In this role, you’ll guide the evolution of manual QA, introduce AI-assisted testing where it creates real impact, and help define where selective automation improves outcomes. By creating clear standards, supporting strong collaboration across teams, and staying curious about how quality practices can evolve, you’ll make an impact that’s felt by our teams, our clients, and the people who use the products we help build. Within your first 6 months, you will assess the current QA practice and define the operating model, standards and leadership structure to support Content Solutions in 2026 and beyond.

What you will do:

• Guide the QA strategy for Content Solutions, shaping how quality is delivered across CMS builds, retainers, and platform extensions.
• Build and evolve QA operating models that balance quality, cost efficiency, distributed teams, and partner support.
• Enable the adoption of AI-assisted QA practices that improve coverage, consistency, and tester effectiveness.
• Partner with engineering and delivery leaders to define where manual testing, AI assistance, and selective automation provide the most value.
• Represent QA leadership in cross-functional planning, portfolio discussions, and key client conversations.

• Establish clear QA standards, engagement models, and governance that improve consistency across projects.
• Strengthen the effectiveness of manual QA through AI-assisted workflows and better tooling.
• Build a distributed QA organization that scales reliably across regions and project types.
• Reduce regression effort and delivery risk across long-term retainers and platform extensions.
• Create a trusted QA function that delivery teams, engineers, and clients rely on for predictable outcomes.

About you:

• You thrive in fast-moving, multi-project environments and bring structure where ambiguity exists.
• You have experience leading QA in a digital agency and understand CMS-driven delivery models.
• You value strong manual QA foundations and are thoughtful about where automation adds real value.
• You collaborate naturally with engineers, delivery leaders, and non-technical stakeholders.
• You communicate clearly, lead calmly, and bring a pragmatic approach to quality and risk.
