About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Functional Lead to join our dynamic team, driving the successful implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA and similar SAP cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial systems landscape, leveraging their deep understanding of SAP solutions to support our clients across various industries. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, leadership, and client engagement capabilities, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive, effective, and innovative financial solutions.

 

Role Responsibilities

- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.

- Explore Workshop Preparation, Delivery, and Leadership: Lead the preparation and execution of Explore workshops, engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify business processes, and define solution strategies. Demonstrate leadership in facilitating discussions, driving decisions, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Sales Demo Delivery: Collaborate with the sales team to deliver compelling, customized demos of SAP solutions, showcasing the value and capabilities of our offerings to prospective clients. Use insights from client interactions to enhance demo effectiveness and relevance.

- Product Development: Contribute to the development of our SAP finance solutions, incorporating client feedback and emerging industry trends to ensure our offerings remain at the cutting edge of technology and business practices.

- Functional Design: Lead the functional design process, translating business requirements into detailed SAP solution specifications. Ensure designs are practical, scalable, and aligned with best practices.

- Unit Testing: Oversee the planning and execution of unit testing, ensuring solutions are robust, reliable, and meet client expectations. Address issues promptly, applying a systematic approach to problem-solving.

- Data Migration Support: Provide expert guidance on data migration strategies, overseeing the transfer of critical financial data into new SAP systems. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

- SAP Configuration: Apply deep technical knowledge to configure SAP finance modules, particularly within SAP cloud solutions. Stay abreast of new features and functionalities, leveraging them to enhance system performance and business outcomes.

 

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP finance functions, with a strong preference for candidates holding SAP cloud solution certification.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering at least 5 complete implementation lifecycles using SAP S/4HANA or similar SAP cloud solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and client engagement skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, information technology, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications in SAP solutions would be an advantage.
