Job Description

Fulfil is hiring a night shift Maintenance Supervisor to join us at a fast-paced startup in a multi-disciplinary team. In this role you will be responsible for automation equipment availability, spares management, and managing a team of maintenance technicians. 

In This Role You Will

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of Maintenance Technicians to achieve facility metrics
  • Lead and assist technicians in resolving unplanned down events and driving successful recoveries with high reliability
  • Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance and audit data metrics to determine where the team can improve
  • Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with company safety regulations and department safety programs and all company policies and procedures 
  • Make daily resource allocation decisions, balancing competing priorities, to serve the needs of the maintenance, engineering, and operations teams
  • Work closely with engineers and operations team to support equipment upgrade project timelines and objectives
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality 
  • Provide a shift-to-shift communication summary to keep all team members working toward the same goals, priorities and expand communication to relevant audiences impacted or to bring awareness  
  • Manage existing spares inventory, order spares as required, and keep inventory accurate
  • Document maintenance activities and any modifications made to equipment
  • Impact the company’s overall  performance by contributing to a positive work culture, encouraging good build practices, and helping to create and improve robust engineering workflows and processes 

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Management, Engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent preferred background considered would involve a minimum of five years in manufacturing maintenance (Industrial, Mechatronics Equipment) and machine operations experience with progressive responsibility or equivalent experience
  • Four years or more of industrial maintenance supervisory or similar leadership experience preferred Mechatronics-Electrical and/or Controls Automation, Equipment Test experience environment of high-volume manufacturing 
  • Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles preferred and project management skills and Lean Manufacturing experience 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality, quantity, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Able to work night shift schedule, including weekday, weekends, and/or overtime; must be able to change schedule based on business needs given an advance notice is provided 
  • Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must, familiarity with CMMS preferred 
  • Troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics/diagram prints

  • The salary range for this position is $90,000 -$120,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience and relevant skills.
