FC Lead
Our Opportunity:
The Fulfillment Center Lead will play a key role in our start-up operations, taking a hands-on approach to build and develop positive relationships with hourly team members at our Wilkes Barre, PA Fulfillment Center. This individual thrives in dynamic environments, embraces change, and is passionate about driving daily improvements. With a focus on operational perfection, the Fulfillment Center Lead will be directly involved in the details, ensuring smooth processes and continuous improvements in efficiency, productivity, and team collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a team of up to 20 hourly associates to meet operational goals and ensure efficient performance.
- Develop and maintain a safe working environment, prioritizing the well-being of all employees.
- Take ownership for achieving all operational targets and goals.
- Recognize and reward strong performance while implementing dynamic team when vital.
- Mentor, train, and develop Team Members to support their career growth and learning opportunities.
- Feed a culture of continuous improvement by developing and sharing standard processes across shifts and throughout the network.
- Create a positive team environment that encourages feedback and drives significant change within the fulfillment center.
- Adapt to the evolving business needs while remaining focused on enhancing the customer experience.
- Apply the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to optimize order fulfillment and provide insights for process improvement.
- What You’ll Need:
- 1+ years of leadership experience in fulfillment center or warehouse operations, with retail or e-commerce experience preferred.
- A passion for working in a start-up environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change optimally.
- A metrics-driven attitude to focus on achieving performance goals and operational perfection.
- A customer-service-oriented attitude, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead employees, work with cross-functional teams, and engage with executive leadership.
- Shown adaptability and decision-making skills, using data to drive the right outcomes.
- Integrity and a high standard of ethics in all professional activities.
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or night shifts as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a strong solid understanding of the tools vital for the role.
