FC Lead
Our Opportunity
Chewy is looking for a Fulfillment Center (FC) Lead to join our pack in Jessup, PA. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and enjoy leading by example, this role is for you. You'll play a hands-on role supporting our operations and making an impact every day. We're looking for someone passionate about coaching, developing others, and driving excellence in everything they do.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Area Managers to support a team of up to 90 hourly Team Members and drive performance and engagement.
- Champion a safe, clean, and organized workspace for all Team Members.
- Drive achievement of daily and weekly operational goals.
- Mentor, coach, and support team member development and career growth.
- Model Chewy’s values and operating principles, promoting integrity and collaboration.
- Act as a link between hourly associates and leadership to ensure two-way communication and clarity.
- Adapt and lead in a fast paced, constantly evolving e-commerce environment.
- Share and implement standard processes across the fulfillment network.
- Encourage open feedback, build an encouraging culture, and prioritize the customer experience.
- Leverage tools like WMS, CLMS, Tableau, and Smartsheet to support team performance.
What You’ll Need
- At least 3 months of demonstrated informal leadership (e.g., peer mentoring, training, or leading projects).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
- A strong focus on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A passion for customer service and operational excellence.
- High integrity and a commitment to doing what’s right.
- Flexibility to work night shifts and/or weekends as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
