AI Strategist

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of business strategy and cutting-edge AI, without being pigeonholed into either. You're not just advising on technology; you're shaping how major enterprise clients think about and invest in AI. From day one, you'll be working across a portfolio of marquee brands, helping them move from curiosity to confidence in their AI strategies.

What makes this role unique is the scope of influence. You'll be the person in the room who listens to business stakeholders, translates their challenges into a clear vision, and then builds the roadmap that actually gets them there. You're the bridge: the one who makes sure AI investments deliver real, measurable value rather than becoming shelf-ware.

This is also a role with staying power. AI strategy is still being defined across industries, and you'd be helping to shape that definition, both externally with clients and internally.

What experience should you have:

  • 10-15 years of experience in strategist or consulting role.
  • Deep AI expertise, particularly in a consulting or agency role: ethical AI principles and best practices.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas simply and credibly, and create executive-level presentations.
  • AI / Machine Learning / advanced analytics experience in a highly-regulated industry (healthcare, finance, energy, defense).
  • Expertise in change management processes and a deep appreciation for its value in enterprise solution adoption.
  • Hands-on experience driving adoption of Generative AI solutions in the enterprise
  • Bonus Points: AI governance certification preferred

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Lead business development activities, including client pitches, creating plans and estimating work. This involves creating trusted partnerships to consistently extend and expand client relationships and engaging with CS and BD to develop new business.
  • Identify business outcomes and plan and delegate work to the team to positively impact them and communicate the a clear value proposition/story of our work to the clients
  • Infer and communicate the consequences of new information/criteria/realities on specific client ecosystems or scenarios
Partners with senior clients to identify high-value AI opportunities, build strategic roadmaps for AI adoption, and establish governance mechanisms for AI programs.
  • Provide strategic direction to clients and internal teams. They lead major engagements, influence client decision-making and develop innovative approaches that create lasting value for clients.
  • Focus, lead and mentor the teams to deliver measurable results.
  • Frame AI work around testable hypotheses tied to real business outcomes (revenue, retention, efficiency).

What you'll need to accomplish in your first year:

  • Drive AI Strategy with Clients: Identify high-value AI opportunities within client organizations, build strategic roadmaps for AI adoption, and establish governance mechanisms to ensure AI programs are sustainable and trustworthy, understanding how AI fits into a client's broader ecosystem and decision-making.
  • Lead and Grow: Mentor internal teams on AI-related engagements, participate in business development (pitches, scoping, estimating AI work), and help mature the firm's overall AI solution offerings over time.
  • Translate Complexity: Act as the interpretive layer between data scientists/technical teams and business stakeholders — communicating consequences of model outputs, new data realities, or AI limitations in terms clients can act on.

Our total rewards program is designed for your protection, peace of mind, and overall well-being. In addition to our outstanding basics, we offer a net-zero cost medical option, company contributions to your HSA, fertility support, fully-paid parental leave, a monthly stipend for your lifestyle spending account, and much more.

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
