Schedule: On-site: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. May need to work work in the office on Monday and Friday based on business needs
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Brand Manager in our out of home business you will play a central role in developing and executing the strategy to deliver profitable growth and key near-term operations for a specific brand. This Manager will leverage actionable insights to drive end-to-end optimization, I&R, and lead the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process. In collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Trade Assets and Finance, they will ensure executional excellence of our annual business plans and strategy. This role is accountable for championing the category, brand’s identity, and knowing the consumer deeply to create a north star for all business and brand decisions.

This critical role is responsible for leading our Core business strategy for our coffee brand and its portfolio of – dispensed equipment solutions as well as standard portfolio. You will help to set a vision, key objectives and content strategy, and will lead marketing plan execution for our end to end out of home business across all target channels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consumer & Customer Intimacy
- Develop a deep understanding of the demographics, psychographics, occasions, path to purchase and behavioral drivers of the brand’s consumer through data and research
- Analyzes data and synthesizes learning into insights to optimize plan and commercial investment decisions to deliver business results
- Experience leveraging data and trends to generate insights and transforming them into marketing innovation, brand building (communications), optimize plan and commercial investment decisions to deliver business result
Business Planning
- P&L ownership to ensure that key business KPI’s are met—revenue, profit, market share and brand health.
- Lead the monthly operating process to deliver business performance and ensure accurate forecasting to mitigate supply challenges. Track sales, consumption, and consumer trends to identify gaps / opportunitie
- Responsible for accurate and healthy demand forecast process including inventory at Warehouse, Customers as well as key demand fluctuations
- Strategically chart a course for the category, portfolio, and brand using data-driven decision-making; uses the various business planning cycles to build compelling stories to rally internal teams and customers
- Lead the development of strategic revenue management strategies to drive long-term profitable growth for the business including pricing, promo, and price pack architecture (PPA)
- End to end cross functional leadership to project and drive impact of business plan and prepare cross-functional teams to deliver (procurement, T&P, ensure supply, etc.)
- Explore and incorporate new approaches to brand innovation in the brand’s innovation strategy including licensing agreements and strategic partnership
Brand and Product Experience
- Identifies optimal engagement strategy and campaign structure with internal teams and external agencies to reach operators when and where they are most receptive, increasing awareness, penetration and / or purchase frequency
- Strong understanding of brand foundational tools and ensures the cultural relevance of the brand’s identity, essence, and activations across all touchpoints
- Works to produce continuous growth out of total demand generation dollars; manages brand’s marketing budget and demonstrate efficient and effective investment approach
- In collaboration with cross-functional and external experts, lead within the context of the division's Innovation / Renovation strategy, supporting I&R pipeline development based on key consumer, operator, channel and marketplace data
Commercial Excellence
- Partners with Customer Development to execute strategy and win the sale in target OOH channels; understands how to maximize business opportunities in out of home and collaborates to drive execution
- Translate 3-year strategic plan into an annual commercial plan to drive sales and marketing tactics through target channels and partners. Ensure solutions are differentiated, creating a brand value proposition and influencing purchase behavior
- Lead the development and execution of annual marketing plans to address all aspects of the marketing mix - product, price, place & promotion. This includes leading the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process working with key stakeholders to develop annual brand plan that delivers on the 3-year strategic plan.
People Management
- Leads by example to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams supporting the brand to exceed high performance targets
- Champions category knowledge and passion
- Fostering the sharing of best practices.

- Product/Brand/Marketing Operator Communications Strategy, Media Strategy, MBP & QBR, PFME ownership, Pricing, Marketing Operations & Execution, Insights & Analytics, Agency Management, Supply/Materials tradeoffs, Customer meetings, Sustainability, New Business Models, Product Innovation & Renovation, Operations Strategy, Design Strategy (packaging)– restage, Operations Strategy, Category Expertise, Upfront storyline planning with Customer Development team, Feedback to improve Sales content
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- University Degree (BA/BS) in Marketing or related business field, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Knowledge of budget control methods, policies and procedures
- Financial acumen and the understanding of calculating risk/return on business decisions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver results
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written), relationship building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
CRITICAL EXPERIENCES
- +5 years of work experience in marketing, brand management or business management ideally with B2B experience
- Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams and / or agency partners utilizing strong negotiation and relationship building skills
- Experience developing strategic plans and budgets, such as communication campaigns or commercialization strategies
- Experience leading marketing communication projects including digital and media strategies
- Experience leveraging data, research, and trends to generate insights to understand consumer & operator behavior
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to develop creative/non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems
