Title: Senior Sensory Software Training and Documentation Specialist
Location: Bridgewater, NJ (Option for on-site 2-3 days per week)

Initial term: 4 months (position expected to run longer)
Compensation: Up to $46/hr plus overtime (benefits include health insurance, 401(k), life & disability insurance)
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is in the company's R&D organization. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team for a short-term assignment focused on optimizing our use of our sensory software. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a gap analysis on our current process, identifying training needs, determining standardized processes, and writing guidance/how-to documents to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess capabilities and global best practices: Evaluate all aspects of EyeQuestion software along with best practices and training materials provided by the global team.
2. Understand local ISI team’s current work processes and needs: Assess current habits and usage of the EyeQuestion software. Understand the team’s existing workflows, processes, test types and needs related to sensory software
3. Determine Best Practices & Standardized Processes: Identify and define standardized procedures which reflect global best practices and meet the needs of the team.
4. Write Guidance/How-To Documents: Create comprehensive and user-friendly documentation to guide team members in using the software platform effectively and consistently. This includes training materials, step-by-step instructions and best practices.
5. User support & coaching: Serve as the ISI team expert on EyeQuestion and provide individualized support for ISI team on projects. Support may include: data entry, programming and guidance on how to set up and analyze projects following established best practices
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• 5+ years of experience working in sensory science, or related field
• Prior experience working with sensory software platforms is a must (e.g. EyeQuestion, Compusense, RedJade)
• Working knowledge of statistical techniques used in sensory science and statistical software programs (e.g. XLSTAT, R)
• Strong analytical skills to understand software capabilities, assess training needs and evaluate workflows.
• Excellent written communication skills for creating clear and concise documentation.
• Ability to self-manage and break down assignment into key steps and milestones for successful completion and delivery.
