Procurement Specialist

Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey
Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)
Initial term: 8 months (position expected to run longer)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, regular business hours (primarily onsite with hybrid flexibility)

DESCRIPTION: 

• Ensure appropriate raw material ordering, receiving, and inventory management through proprietary and SAP systems
• Issue POs
• Uphold all Food Safety, Food Quality, Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Policies for the site.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Strong customer service mindset
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on food manufacturing
• Prior experience conducting procurement for a manufacturing site, R&D office, or distribution center
• Highly competent in professional personal computing skills
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Prior experience utilizing SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• $29.50 per hour + overtime
