Lab Technician

Title: Lab Technician
Location: Marysville, OH
Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)
Initial term: 12 months (Month Day, Year - Month Day, Year) (position expected to run longer)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Perform routine general chemistry analyses and sample preparations per company or official methodologies.
Support administrative tasks and Good Laboratory Practices checks performed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, process and track analytical sample requests
• Communicate with project managers to obtain necessary information
• Coordinate analyses with other Analytical Section analysts
• Perform routine in-house chemical and physical testing
• Monitor and maintain basic analytical equipment
• Maintain the laboratory in a safe, clean environment
• Accurately document analytical analysis
• Comply with company Integrated Management System and all other company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Associate degree or B.S. in a Science related field with one year related experience or High School Diploma (or GED) with three years related experience
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Ability to accurately perform analytical procedures and administrative tasks
• Good communication skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
