Software Developer (SAP Transportation & Order Management)

Summary:

The professional position of Software Developer (SAP Transportation & Order Management) is a specialty occupation that requires the beneficiary to have demonstrable depth and breadth in leading all aspects of management of applications by conducting analysis, development, customization and supporting SAP programs. Applicant must be able to proactively identify and resolve SAP application issues with cross-functional teams in real time.

Job Duties Include:

• Analyze and configure, implement, and support SAP applications including TM, SD, I2, Cargoo EDI, EWM, ORM, CASS, Transporeon, DSP, Geodis-OMS, OM-CAMBAR, and FourKites.
• Implement SAP TM for Freight Planning, Freight Order Management, Carrier Tendering, Agreement Management, Freight Settlement, and Master Data.
• Design OVT, Dock Scheduling, OTRQ/DTRQ, FU-FO inconsistencies, CHACO rules, optimize vehicle load capacities, and resolve XML issues.
• Support DPS load building and optimization for FTL, LTL, and pick-ups, manage carrier tendering, tariffs in I2 system.
• Implement Cargoo system for ocean shipments, handling booking, carrier allocations (TS1/TS2), VGM submission, export documents, and freight forwarder invoice auditing.
• Integrate SAP with third-party systems using EDI for data exchange
• Design SOOC, OMER, resolution cockpit, NDS, OTR HANA, MOC, military processes, and trade-off invoices.
• Schedule BOP jobs and manage NCOL, DMC, ATP process
• Conduct root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements. Participate in testing activities. Create detailed functional specifications
• Deliver training. Provide a solution to users along with proper documentation to serve as a training tool for future issues

EDUCATIONAL AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a bachelor's degree in EE, CS or related field (or foreign equivalent) and 2 years of experience with the following skills, that may be gained concurrently: SAP TM, SAP SD, I2, Cargoo, EDI, SAP EWM, CASS, Transporeon, SAP DSP, Geodis-OMS, OM-CAMBAR, Fourkites. Short-term travel or long-term relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. is required. Employer will pay for relocation or travel. This is not a telecommuting job.  Wage: $181 - $190K
