Planning and Execution Associate

Future Standard is seeking a Global Engineering and Operations Planning and Execution Associate with financial aptitude who is hands-on and able to actively manage multiple priorities to successful completion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The individual in this role will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and managing vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement for Global Engineering & Operations. They will review invoices, perform validation, develop and update anticipated vendor payment schedule, track and reconcile to budgets, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor records. This role also involves executing on other team initiatives, communication with vendors and other stakeholders to resolve payment issues and improve processes.

The successful candidate is expected to:

  • Develop and maintain vendor records, including but not limited to vendor master data, anticipated payment schedule, budget tracking, and other financial records.
  • Review and validate invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy of coding, data capture and compliance with company policies and processes. 
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth payment processes and timely disbursement to vendors.
  • Collaborate with leadership as well as key business stakeholders to raise opportunities for procurement improvements including the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and procedures. Assist with execution on these opportunities, as assigned.
  • Develop and draft documentation and provide training, mentorship and support as needed.
  • Plan and carry out Strategic Planning and Execution initiatives as assigned.
  • Manage all hands-on execution for the Bangalore, India office and support connectivity to other offices.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail. Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to ensure accuracy in invoice processing, payment disbursement, and record keeping.
  • Skills managing multiple priorities and a growing volume of invoices, while maintaining organized records.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and systems as well as company's financial operations.
  • Working knowledge of vendor management, procurement and accounts payable functions preferred.
  • Excellent communication and analysis skills.
  • Experience or strong aptitude for financial analysis, process improvements and managing initiatives to successful completion.
  • Asset or investment management knowledge and experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced growth-oriented environment
