Talent Advisor
Future Standard is seeking a Talent Advisor, ideally with experience within high-caliber professional/financial services environments.
This role is not a high-volume, transactional recruitment position. Instead, it is designed for a consultative recruitment professional who can:
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders.
- Drive strategic talent sourcing and market mapping.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience.

The successful Candidate is expected to:
The Talent Advisor will partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand nuanced hiring needs, advise on market trends, and execute tailored search strategies that identify and engage top-tier talent. We also need our Talent Advisor to be a utility player, navigating seamlessly across the talent spectrum. This is defined as assisting with early career/campus recruitment efforts through executive search.
Strategic Talent Sourcing & Market Insight
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify high-quality candidates in niche talent pools.
- Maintain ongoing talent pipelines for critical and future hiring needs.
- Leverage market intelligence and competitive analysis to advise hiring managers.
Full Lifecycle Recruitment
- Manage searches from intake through offer acceptance.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and long-term potential across the organization.
- Be present with talent to build meaningful relationships to ensure a high offer to hire success ratio.
Advisory & Stakeholder Partnership
- Serve as a strategic partner to hire leaders, providing guidance on search strategy, candidate selection, and market positioning.
- Deliver a consultative approach that mirrors executive search best practices rather than corporate recruiting processes.
- Influence decision-making through data, insights, and deep market knowledge.
Candidate & Client Experience
- Ensure a seamless, high-touch recruitment experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Act as the brand ambassador for the firm and its leadership in all candidate interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion always.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of recruitment experience, ideally within alternative asset management, private equity, investment banking, or top-tier executive search.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and/or specialized searches, within channels of talent that are in high demand/emerging lines of business.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior business leaders.
- Skilled at market mapping, passive candidate engagement, and strategic sourcing.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- High degrees of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
