Associate, Quantitative Engineer

Future Standard is seeking a Quantitative Engineer to join our Quantitative Strategies team. In this role, the Associate will design and build data-driven and AI-enabled models that support critical business initiatives and decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in quantitative and data modeling, with 1–5 years of experience working with large, complex datasets. The Associate will leverage generative AI and advanced analytics to identify patterns, translate business needs into scalable solutions, and transform raw data into clear, compelling visualizations that enable senior leadership to make informed, strategic decisions and drive performance.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE IS EXPECTED TO:

— Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to find trends, patterns, and insights. 
— Build quantitative and data models. 
— Implement Generative AI prompts and agents. 
— Work closely with internal business including sales, marketing, credit, private equity etc.
— Always behave with the utmost professionalism.
— Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, credibility and trust.
— Be resourceful, decisive and proactive.
— Able to multi-task and work under pressure for urgent mandates. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

— Master’s Degree required in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc.
— 1-5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst, Quant Research/Dev or similar. 
— Advanced SQL proficiency with database experience: SQL Server, Snowflake etc.
— Strong programming skills (Python, Java, C++ or other popular language). 
— Generative AI experience highly preferred. 
— Experience working in financial services preferred. 
— Exemplary organizational skills, including the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
— Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills. 
— Experience deploying and maintaining production-grade models & libraries. 
— Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development. 
— Enterprise-grade RAG / LLM pipelines / AI agents. 
— MLOps, model monitoring, and governance. 
 
Salary Range: Expected base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000/year 
This range represents base salary only and does not include bonus or other forms of compensation. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to relevant experience, peer and market data, business sector, and/or geographic location. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
