About G2’s Intern Program
G2’s Intern Program is back for its 5th amazing summer! You’ll work closely with leaders and peers throughout the 10 weeks- focusing on making a real impact on G2, with a final presentation about your work to our Executive & Senior Leadership Teams. We’ve packed the summer full of professional development and social events to lay the foundation for your career, ensuring you’ll have a balanced experience over the course of the 10 weeks.
G2 Intern Program Details
- 10 weeks: June 2nd - August 8th
- Hybrid: Tuesday through Thursday required in-person at our Downtown Chicago HQ
- Pay: $24/hour; 40 hours a week
About The Role
Data Analytics at G2 is divided into 3 separate teams: Revenue Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Product Analytics. This individual would be working with our Marketing Analytics team in supporting such teams as: User Life Cycle, Market Research, Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, SEO, SRO, etc. This team is imperative for supporting our Marketing teams in Reporting, Deep dive Data Analysis, Automation, Data Self-service, SME data subject support and research support, etc. In this role, you will learn with our Lead Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst on how they support our Marketing teams from a data perspective. You will learn and experience many tooling and language applications that will provide you with experience within a data role directed at a hyper-focused business branch.
As a member of Marketing Data Analytics team this summer, you’ll focus on:
- Business Intelligence report development and cleaning
- Ad-hoc data analysis
- QA activities and review
- Stakeholder Engagement with support of your Lead and Senior Analyst
Requirements
- A rising Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university
- Experience using SQL
- Experience with at least one business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, etc)
- Python or R experience is a plus
- Attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
- Excellent organization skills (email, task management, follow-up)
- Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively and independently, delivering on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
