About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of G2's rapidly-growing advertising platform. As part of the Advertisement team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and refining our seller-side ads platform and working with our Buyer Experience team to optimize ad conversion. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B advertising models and ad performance optimization to drive measurable outcomes for advertisers while maintaining transparency and relevance for buyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the vision and strategy for G2’s advertising platform, focusing on seller-side ad placement and buyer-side engagement.
- Lead the development and optimization of G2's ad products, including PPC and ad buyouts, to optimize revenue growth.
- Leverage product analytics and experimentation to track performance, derive insights, and iterate on ad products.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to implement scalable and effective ad solutions.
- Align with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams to understand advertiser needs, improve ad effectiveness, and help drive go-to-market motions that support G2's digital revenue strategy.
- Solicit and evaluate seller and buyer feedback on ad units.
- Evaluate, develop, and optimize ad targeting models.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and best practices in ad technology.
Minimum Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of Product Management experience, with a background in ads platforms, programmatic advertising, or ad bidding systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing and rapidly iterating on minimum viable products that optimize for time-to-money.
- Experience with real-time bidding and ad-serving infrastructure.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in extracting qualitative and quantitative user behavior insights (i.e. through A/B and painted door testing, data analysis, and session replay).
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in B2B marketplaces or SaaS advertising is a plus.
