Position Summary
This role supports the Application Development team in New York City by contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions in collaboration with engineers and stakeholders. The role provides hands-on experience designing and deploying features, writing and reviewing code, improving existing systems, and participating in team development processes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of software features
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to solve technical challenges
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and improving existing systems
- Participate in code reviews and team ceremonies
Qualifications
- Eligible to participate to Northeastern University’s undergraduate Co-op program
- Current Northeastern University student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Science
- Strong programming ability in two or more languages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Proactive problem solver capable of thinking ahead, managing multiple tasks, and staying organized
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a positive “can-do” attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages
- Frontend development experience, preferably with React (Angular is a plus)
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
