Position Summary
The position will have a variety of responsibilities supporting the global finance-related transaction operations for General Atlantic. This person will have an opportunity to have exposure to complex allocation models, various investor communications schedules as well as internal reconciliations, in addition to working on special projects. This person will work closely with the finance, accounting and treasury teams and will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of various monthly reports for distribution to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of various reports and models utilized by various internal and external key stakeholders
- Participate in addressing investor inquiries related to transactional activity, underlying investor commitments and portfolio holdings
- Help prepare supporting schedules and gather information required by General Atlantic’s internal and external auditors, SEC regulators and various other parties
Qualifications
- Strong record of academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall and in major (on a 4.0 scale), strongly preferred
- Concentration in Finance or Accounting with proven track record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings
- Strong technology skills (e.g., excel with formulas & pivot tables, Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx, or similar data management & visualization tools is a plus)
- Excellent analytical & problem-solving abilities with sharp attention to detail
- High energy level, strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity
