POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Atlantic Individual Markets Communications team is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead cross-functional analysis and activities which inform both strategic change and operational processes throughout the company. The right person for this role has excellent analytical abilities, has a demonstrated ability to apply analytics to solve business problems and identify opportunities, and has a strong understanding of business strategy, operations and KPI development.
Global Atlantic is seeking a candidate to join the Individual Markets Operations team to support the building out of a center of excellence for all policy print, policy statements and correspondence.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Individual Markets strategy for delivering a modern, market-leading experience with correspondence through both mail and e-delivery formats.
- Collaborate with Print third-party service providers and internal business partners to optimize efficiency and scale across Individual Markets while reducing risk and expenses.
- Creation and submission of ad hoc mailing requests.
- Participate in the establishment of policies, procedures and strategies related to the efficient administration of policy print, anniversary statements and policy confirmations.
- Analyzes system problems impacting print and develops recommendations to solve.
- Analyzes customer impact of print problems impacting business processes and develops and implements recommendations for remediation and customer communication.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of validation audits and results.
- Participate in projects to define and document validation requirements.
- Maintain and develop validation plans for product launches, product changes and inforce business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3+) years of business systems analysis experience in Retirement business with a Life and/or Annuity subject matter expertise in new business or policy administration.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Query tools, XML editor and data warehouse a plus.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to quantify impacts and synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Ability to elicit detailed functional and non-functional requirements from key stakeholders.
- Experience with business modeling or process mapping.
- Experience handling ad hoc mailings and mail file data scrubbing.
- Demonstrated self-starter and effective individual contributor.
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
- Agile experience is preferred. Scrum master or Product Owner experience is a plus.
- Ability to excel and lead in a fast-paced environment while taking on diverse responsibilities.
- Ability to understand, document and effectively communicate up and downstream systems and process impacts.
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic and a high level of personal integrity and accountability.
- Proven ability to successfully handle competing priorities and multiple deliverables.
- Experience working with external vendors and outsourced business models is a plus.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.
Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives.
The base salary range for this role is
$50,500 - $84,000 USD
