Global Atlantic is looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Bermuda Actuarial team. This role will be based in our Hamilton, Bermuda office and will be part of the team supporting the Bermuda Asset Liability Management (ALM) process. The Senior Analyst will also act as a liaison between Actuarial, IT, Risk, Investments and Finance as part of the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of ALM cash flows, including base, sensitivity, and stress scenarios
- Contribute to the development, automation and enhancement of Python-based models and reporting templates to streamline production processes
- Participate in the quarterly ALM production cycle and support ad-hoc requests
- Onboard new reinsurance transactions into production and reporting workflows
- Develop internal controls and maintain documentation for ALM and reporting processes
Required & Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in asset liability management within the (re)insurance or investment industry
- Progress towards related professional certification such as FSA or CFA preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming language (Python preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
