Who You Are:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our IT, Infrastructure & Security Team. You are a results-driven, detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience managing cross-functional engineering work streams. You will enable your teams to deliver high quality work by allowing them to focus on the highest priority initiatives. You exhibit a strong blend of soft skills for effective collaboration and communication with the business and engineering stakeholders; along with deep agile experience to excel in this critical role. You are a planner, organized, and able to work autonomously to solve critical problems and blockers. You will report to the Head of Portfolio Management for the IT, Infrastructure and Security Team.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage one of our IT, Infrastructure or Security team’s portfolios to help define, drive and implement agile best practices for standardization and process improvement with a focus on simplification and productivity.
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects of all sizes and tactically driving teams in and outside of your team to deliver.
- Influence key stakeholders by engaging in effective communications across workstreams on key decisions and status updates.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and transparency.
- Partner and collaborate (working hands on) with various members of the team to gather context and decompose work.
- Establish and enforce standards for work submission and approval.
- Block and tackle for the team. Reduce noise for the team.
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing software engineering and / or IT infrastructure teams with a relentless emphasis on process improvement, documentation, and standardization.
- Solid project management, cross workstream collaboration with a proven track record to prioritize, plan, and execute.
- Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
- Experience leading scrum and Kanban teams.

- Demonstrated tenacity in pursuing objectives and overcoming challenges.
- Exhibit a persistent and determined approach driving change.
- Ability to work through ambiguity. Can proactively identify pain points and take initiative to find solutions to help team achieve organizational goals.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$150,000 - $175,000 USD
