Who You Are:

The Lead Infrastructure Scrum Project Manager is responsible for driving Agile project management best practices within the infrastructure and DevOps teams. This role ensures the successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migrations, CI/CD pipeline improvements, monitoring enhancements, and enterprise architecture upgrades. The candidate will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Agile Project Management & Scrum Leadership
    • Lead infrastructure-related Agile projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities
    • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives)
    • Remove impediments to team progress by proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and blockers
    • Maintain Agile artifacts, including Sprint backlogs, roadmaps, and velocity tracking
    • Coach teams on Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Infrastructure & Cloud Project Execution
    • Drive infrastructure modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, networking, and security upgrades
    • Partner with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD processes and streamline deployments
    • Oversee implementation of monitoring, observability, and logging solutions to enhance system reliability
    • Ensure infrastructure projects align with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to define project requirements and success criteria
    • Provide regular status updates to leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans
    • Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to align priorities
  • Risk Management & Process Improvement
    • Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
    • Continuously improve Agile processes to enhance team productivity and efficiency
    • Standardize project management methodologies for infrastructure initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years in IT project management, with 3+ years leading Agile/Scrum teams in infrastructure or cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience implementing them in infrastructure teams
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus)
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools

Bonus Points: 

  • Experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for infrastructure security and compliance

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.

Base Salary Range

$200,000 - $225,000 USD
